Team Billing and Credits
The team subscription unlocks the workspace (dashboard, analytics, coaching briefs). Credits are consumed one per assessment. You need both. Subscription is ongoing. Credit usage varies based on how many people you assess.
How subscriptions and credits work together
The subscription unlocks your team workspace. Without it, you cannot access the dashboard, member management, analytics, or coaching briefs. Think of it as the platform access fee. Credits are consumed when someone takes an assessment. One credit per person. You buy credits separately because assessment usage varies. Some teams assess 5 people. Some assess 50. Some do it all at once. Some do it in waves. Separating subscription from credits means you pay for workspace access consistently and only pay for assessments when you actually use them.
- •Subscription: Unlocks team workspace, dashboard, analytics, member management, and coaching briefs. Required to access the Teams product at all.
- •Credits: Consumed one per assessment. Buy them in batches based on how many people you plan to assess. No expiration.
- •Why separate: Workspace access is ongoing (you need the dashboard even when no one is actively taking assessments). Credit usage is episodic (you assess people in waves, not continuously).
- •Both are required: The subscription unlocks the workspace. Credits power the assessments inside it. Without a subscription you have no dashboard. Without credits you have no data to put on it.
What operators should plan for
Small teams (5-15 people): Buy enough credits to assess everyone. Full coverage on a small team gives you the complete picture immediately. You will know exactly who your champions are, who needs support, and what training to invest in. Department-level (15-50 people): Assess the whole department. The more people you assess, the more patterns you see across roles and the more confident your rollout decisions become. Large organizations (50+ people): Use shareable codes to let people self-serve across teams. Buy credits in bulk. The cost of assessing your entire AI-facing workforce is a fraction of one bad rollout decision or one quarter of wasted tool licenses.
- •Small team strategy: Assess everyone, identify your 2-3 champions, and build the first AI workflows around them. Total cost is less than a single day of consultant time.
- •Department strategy: Assess the whole department. You will find champions you did not expect and gaps you did not know existed. The data gets more useful as coverage increases.
- •Expanding: If you started with one team and the data was useful, buy more credits and expand to the next team. The baseline you build now compounds. Every person you assess makes your rollout decisions sharper and your training investments more targeted.
